About the Space

The Dark Room boasts 2500 sq. ft. of endless possibilities for creators, dreamers, and party planners. As an added bonus, The Dark Room is only a 10 minute drive from the Las Vegas strip.

The space is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows and full-length curtains, so you have complete control over the vibe. We offer multiple movable backdrops and props, meaning your set-up will be unlike any others.

Your reservation at The Dark Room includes access to:

  • A rack of 3 paper backdrops in white, black, and rotating color.

  • An extra 5 paper backdrops in aqua, pink, white, red paisley, and black.

  • Multiple velvet and wicker seating options

  • A private hair and makeup area

  • A changing area with a boudoir client closet

  • Access to rentable studio lighting systems

We’re Amber, Brandi, and Casey.

Amber

Amber is a wedding and boudoir photographer hailing from the Midwest. She earned her bachelors and masters degrees in photojournalism, and has been living la vida Vegas since 2019. She can be easily won over by a good margarita and a trashy TV show, and loves spending her free time hiking the Las Vegas mountains or snuggling her cats (children), Cosette, River, and Rory.

Brandi

Brandi is a badass wedding and music photographer with the coolest tattoos you’ve ever seen. Originally from Upstate New York – Woodstock to be exact – she found her calling for photography early in life. You’ll never know exactly where in the world she is, since she’s always traveling internationally with her husband, Ern. She’s a dog mom to Rusty and Mya, and is subject only to the queen of the household, LaVerne the cat.

Casey

You’ve never met someone as bright and lovely as Casey. This woman is the queen of boudoir and branding photography, helping her clients feel like badasses from the boardroom to the bedroom. Casey thrives around people with positive energy, and she loves teaching the next generation of photographers in her collegiate courses – that’s right, we got a professional mentor in the house! She’s a lifelong Vegas resident and fur-mom to Ziggy the cat.

What the FAQ?

(Frequently Asked Questions)

  • All event bookings require event insurance. If you are bringing your own alcohol, you must add liquor liability to your event insurance.

    We require the insurance to be secured through our insurance agent Natalie DeNardo (702.410.7869) at least TWO WEEKS before your event. The policy needs to have 1 million / 2 million general aggregate insurance per occurrence with liquor liability (if you’ll be supplying the alcohol at the event), and The Dark Room LLC , Executive Center LLC and MDL Group must be listed as additionally insured.

  • We have an open vendor policy, meaning you can bring any vendor you’d like. If you would like to bring your own vendors, or bring your own food and drinks, you are more than welcome to do so, since we do not offer on-site catering. We do ask that your DJ be respectful of our noise levels.

  • All set up and breakdown must be included in the time booked.

  • The tables and chairs we have can be added for a flat rate of $275 which is cheaper than going through a rental company. Tables include black table cloths.

  • If you are hiring an outside rental company, we can hold your rentals for a flat rate of $200. This will ensure that we can have someone on-site the next day for pick-up.

  • To visit the space, we offer a video virtual walk-through for free, or in-person walk-throughs for $15 to minimize the amount of no-shows.

    Walk-through times are available Mondays and Tuesdays 11a–6p and Saturday mornings 9a-Noon.

    We are by appointment only and the walk through of the space is for you and only you, so please be sure to be on time. If for some reason you cannot make it, please give us at least 24 hours notice.

  • Due to the high volume of inquiries and how quickly we book, we cannot hold a date for you. Your date is only secure once you have made a payment for the space.

  • Our kitchen space includes a prep area and two sinks, as well as a fridge and microwave. We recommend having all food pre-cooked before your arrival.

  • We have nice plug-and-play speakers available for you to use, included in your booking.

  • We can fit up to 75 people. If you will be having over 30 guests we require you to add on security for your event.
